Time to Panic
I have umpteen million reasons to panic this month. Let me just share my stress... spread the wealth as it were:

* Jaime is now a woman, not a girl... officially... which makes one week out of the month something approaching pure hell
* We sold the practice but the papers are not done and the hospital is going squirrely in ways that might make the deal fall through in a catastrophic way
* We do not have a tenant
* Our optical tech just quit
* WASSER wants their laptop back so now I've got no windoz box on the boat
* I've just run out of hard drive space on my mac box
* DrC still hasn't fixed the windlass... and let's not even try to itemize the many thousands of holes in the boat
* My iGTD just topped 400 actions
* The birds ate all the blueberries while Bijoux was on vacation

And the number one reason I'm in a frickin panic...

I've run out of articles for Toast Floats.

For the first time in 8 months, I quite literally have nothing in the queue. Nothing. Nada. I've got a case of writer's block so bad I can hardly see straight. I made a commitment... one article per week for one year. I'm going to do it. It's a sanity and discipline thing. But the next 6 days are just scary.

Can't begin to help on many of those items. But as for your disk space issue:

http://grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net/

Go there. Download it. Run it on your drive. It'll show you, in the wonderful tree map format, where your space has gone.

You are a prince. Thank you, Niherlas.

Lo, I have questions which you can answer on ye olde blog. They may not inspire formal articles but I've already explained why I don't think formal articles are terribly important (as good as they have been).

1. What was your best cruise so far? Where'd you go? What made this cruise the best? The destination or the way the cruise itself went?

2. What was your worst cruise so far?

3. If you're preparing a meal on the boat for your family, what do you make and how does prep on a boat differ from prep in a full kitchen? How is the meal served? Do you all sit at a table together?

4. If you're preparing a meal on the boat for honored guests, what do you make etc etc etc?

5. What are the material things you'll miss? (I am thinking I would miss holiday decorations... the xmas tree... the really big TV)

6. Ask your kids what their hopes/expectations are for cruising life -- what are they excited about? What are they dreading? Then record their thoughts on the blog for posterity. Voice or video recording would be even better -- when you get your hard drive clear of course!

7. Catalog all the holes on the boat :)

Well that will certainly get me started ;)

Another thing --
You're a zealot about the iGTD. I think you should conveniently forget some of it and declare to-do-list bankruptcy until you feel on top again.

Nice idea, but actually the very existence of it in iGTD means I sleep at night. I wake up and look at it and scream but when I don't write it down somewhere... anywhere really but iGTD is the easiest... I quite literally CAN NOT FRIGGIN SLEEP. It just goes whirling around in my head for hours.
